Macedonian Fruit Festival – Festival Policies

1. Introduction

The Аssociation for Sustainable Community Development VITALITY – Subsidiary Fruit Fest from Delchevo, North Macedonia appreciates your trust. We are a association of citizens, based in the city of Delchevo in North Macedonia, with goal to create community for support of raw food movement, environmental protection, education, research, preventive activities, cooperation with similar organizations and organizing fruit festivals in North Macedonia. 

Thank you for your trust and registration in the Macedonian Fruit Festival, organized by the Association for Sustainable Community Development VITALITY – Subsidiary Fruit Fest, from Delchevo, North Macedonia.

By registering to the Festival and attending, you are accepting the Policies listed in this page.

3. Refund Policy
Thank you for your trust and registration in the Macedonian Fruit Festival, organized by the Association for Sustainable Community Development VITALITY – Subsidiary Fruit Fest, from Delchevo, North Macedonia.

If you decide, for any reason, to cancel your participation in the Festival up until 31.05.2024, you are entitled to a refund of 100% of the deposit, minus the administrative fees that will go into the refund processing. 

If you decide, for any reason, to cancel your participation in the Festival up until 01.07.2024, you are entitled to a refund of 60% of the deposit, minus the administrative fees that will go into the refund processing. 

If you decide, for any reason, to cancel your participation in the Festival after 01.07.2024, there is only the option to transfer the funds to the next year’s festival ticket.

4. General Festival Policy

The Macedonian Fruit Festival is outlining the guidelines and regulations for conducting the event.

The festival aims to celebrate the diversity, nutrition, and cultural significance of raw foods, while promoting a healthy lifestyle and community engagement.

Health and Safety Guidelines for Festival Attendees

1. Personal Hygiene:

  • Maintain good personal hygiene by washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating or handling food.
  • Use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content if soap and water are not readily available.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow when coughing or sneezing, and dispose of tissues properly in designated waste bins.

2. COVID-19 Precautions:

  • Adhere to any COVID-19 guidelines and regulations set forth by the festival organizers, including mask mandates, physical distancing measures, and vaccination or testing requirements.
  • Respect the personal space and boundaries of others and maintain a safe distance whenever possible.

3. Food Safety:

  • Only consume food and beverages prepared by the organizers, who adhere to proper food safety practices and regulations.
  • Avoid consuming perishable food items that have been left unrefrigerated for extended periods or appear spoiled or contaminated.
  • Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly before consumption to remove dirt, bacteria, and pesticides.

4. Stay Hydrated:

  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the festival, especially if you are spending time outdoors in hot or humid weather.

5. Sun Protection:

  • Protect yourself from the sun’s harmful UV rays by wearing sunscreen with a high SPF, sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat.
  • Seek shade or take breaks indoors during peak sun hours to prevent sunburn and heat-related illnesses.

6. Footwear and Clothing:

  • Wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking and standing for extended periods, as you may be exploring the festival grounds.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather conditions, layering clothing as needed to stay warm or cool throughout the day.

7. Emergency Preparedness:

  • Familiarize yourself with the festival venue layout, including the location of emergency exits, first aid stations, and information booths.
  • Carry essential items such as a mobile phone, identification, and any necessary medications in case of emergencies.

  • Attendees must adhere to all no-smoking policies to maintain a smoke-free environment and minimize health risks for themselves and others.

12. No Drugs or Illegal Substances:

  • The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs or substances is strictly prohibited at the festival.
  • Attendees must comply with all local laws and regulations regarding drug possession and consumption.

13. No Alcohol Consumption:

  • Alcohol consumption is prohibited within the festival premises.
  • Attendees must refrain from bringing outside alcohol into the festival grounds and respect any alcohol-related policies or restrictions.

  • Vandalism, theft, or any form of violence will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the festival premises.

16. Respect Hotel Policies:

  • If the festival includes accommodations at partner hotels or lodging facilities, attendees must comply with all hotel policies and regulations.
  • Respect the property and rules of the hotel, including noise curfews, smoking policies, and occupancy limits.
5. Policy Enforcement and Reviews

  • Violations of these policies may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the festival grounds and/or legal consequences in accordance with applicable laws.

7. How Long We Retain Your Data For

When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.

If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
